The Historic Lehigh Valley Trust Company building has officially reopened its doors after more than three decades as the region’s newest luxury event venue: Vault 634. The building underwent an eight-month renovation focused on preserving the property’s historic integrity while adapting the space for modern code compliance.
The property’s Grand Hall boasts marble-fluted pillars, gold-leafed crown molding, hand-laid plaster features, four antique vaults, and five authentic Hess Chandeliers. Throughout the renovation one of the classic vaults was transformed into a signature Vault Bar, a 2,000 square foot addition was constructed at the side entrance to accommodate an elevator tower and other amenities, and the entire property was fitted out with state-of-the-art utilities, sound systems, and A/V packages. The storage areas in the basement were also adapted for an intimate Speakeasy Bar that will be open to the public on specialty nights.
Guests of Central Catholic’s Viking Fest and a Gross McGinley Client Reception will be among the first to experience the fully renovated and operational venue as Vault 634 commences its Grand Opening Month with a series of VIP events. An open house will be hosted on May 15th, 2018 between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
